Enriched Programs
In order to meet entrance requirements for all enriched programs the student must have passed all portions of the TAKS. The following programs will be scheduled only at Lubbock High School:

Aquatic Science. With a field trip to the Texas Gulf Coast for students who excel in this class. Astronomy. With field trips to the McDonald Observatory near Fort Davis, White Sands Missile Range, Holloman Air Force Base, and Cambridge Solar Observatory at Sunspot, New Mexico, or other sites for students who excel in this class. Aquatic Science, Astronomy, Geology, Meteorology, and Oceanography with special fields trips to areas to enrich the classroom experience. A minimum number of students must enroll for a class to make. Questions about these classes can be answered by the counselors or the administration.
